Title: | The Influence of Electrode Constituents on Hydrogen Evolution Reaction on Phosphate W- and Mo-Bronze-Based Electrodes | Authors: | Pagnacco, Maja Marković, Smilja Potočnik, Jelena Krstić, Vesna Tančić, Pavle Mojović, Miloš Mojović, Zorica |
Issue Date: | 1-Oct-2022 | Journal: | Journal of the Electrochemical Society | Abstract: | Phosphate tungsten bronze (WPB) and phosphate molybdenum bronze (MoPB) were synthesized and modified with rhenium. The existing phases were established by X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD), electron paramagnetic spectroscopy (EPR) and Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The electroactivity of bronze samples, with and without rhenium for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) was tested. The influence of carbon black presence in the catalytic ink on the electrochemical activity was investigated. Collected results provide insight into the effects of the constituents of an electrode on its electrochemical activity. |
