Title: | Sorption of n-hexane on cation-exchanged X and Y zeolites containing some divalent transition metal ions | Authors: | Hercigonja, Radmila Radak, V. M. Gal, I. J. |
Issue Date: | 1-Jan-1988 | Journal: | Colloids and Surfaces | Abstract: | Sorption isotherms of n-hexane on ion-exchanged X and Y zeolites of the type MxNa87-2xX and MxNa56-2xY (MCo, Ni, Zn, Cd) have been measured and interpreted in terms of the Dubinin -Radushkevich equation. The substitution of sodium ions with spin-paired Zn2+ and Cd2+ ions causes a decrease in sorption, whereas the substitution with spin-free Co2+ and Ni2+ increases the sorption. © 1988. |
