Title: The axial density distribution of radiation emitted by traces in the plasma of a D.C.ARC

Abstract: 
The axial radiation density distribution was determined for elements of different ionization potentials present in traces in the arc plasma. The sample was evaporated from the lower electrode (anode), while the diameter and shape of the upper electrode (cathode) were varied. The cathode layer enrichment was found to be affected by the cathode shape. © 1976 Springer-Verlag.
