Abstract: 
Theoretical calculation of vibrational relaxation probabilities of molecules in collisions has been improved by the convolution of Maxwell's velocity distribution function, transl. and rotational. A new generalized distribution was established and the corresponding solution of the convolution integral given. © 1992.
