Using the ESEM/SEM/EDX techniques we identified main particulate sulfur carriers in Belgrade troposphere. We found direct correlation between gaseous SO2 and particulate sulfur concentrations, which is explained by a synergy of anthropogenic activities and meteorological inversion effects during the days with heavy weather. |
