Title: | Investigation of the NaA zeolite crystallization mechanism by i.r. spectroscopy | Authors: | Stojkovic, S. R. Adnađević, Borivoj |
Keywords: | aluminosilicate;crystallization;I.r.;NaA zeolite | Issue Date: | 1-Jan-1988 | Journal: | Zeolites | Abstract: | The crystallization mechanism during the synthesis of a type A zeolite was investigated by i.r. spectroscopy. The investigation has shown the presence of primary structural units (D4R) in sodium aluminosilicate gel (SASG) and an increase in their concentration during crystallization. The ratio between band intensities of the primary structural units (D4R), at 560 cm-1, and of the Si-O bending vibration in the SiO4 tetrahedron, at 470 cm∼, increases during crystallization. © 1988 Butterworth Publishers. |
