Abstract: 
The experimentally observed effect of resumption of oscillations following the dilution of some states in the nonoscillatory domain appearing after completion of the last regular oscillation is examined in the Bray-Liebhafsky reaction on the basis of a model proposed by Schmitz. Qualitative agreement is noted, but that agreement offers only qualified support for this particular mechanism. © 1990 American Chemical Society.
