Title: | Glassy state formation in the system xAgI·(1-x)Sb<inf>2</inf>S<inf>3</inf> | Authors: | Petranović, N. Mentus, Slavko Šušić, M. |
Issue Date: | 1-Jan-1987 | Journal: | Solid State Ionics | Abstract: | Occurrence of the glassy state in the xAgI(1-x)Sb2S3 system was investigated by DTA and DSC methods. A glass transition followed by an exothermal glass crystallization were observed on DTA curves of samples obtained after melting and quench-cooling of the AgISb2S3 mixtures. The glassy state exists in the entire mole fraction range of 0.1≤x≤0.9. The glassy transition temperature as well as the crystallization peak temperature depend on the mole ratio of components. An eutectic with melting point at 384°C appears in the observed system. At 328°C a solid-solid phase transition appears at composition near the 0.6AgI-0.4Sb2S3. © 1987. |
