We report on the use of glassy carbon electrodes modified with 9,10-phenanthraquinone or 1,2-naphthoquinone for their applicability as catalytic materials for oxygen reduction and hydrogen peroxide producers. The stability of these modified electrodes are investigated and found to be suitable for use under ultrasound, so providing a basis for the electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide. © the Owner Societies.en
