dc.description.abstract | Isosteric heats of sorption of n-hexane on MxNa56-2xY zeolites (M = Co, Ni, Zn, Cd) were determined from isotherms at two temperatures (288 and 298 K). It was found that the exchange of Na+ ion in NaY with bivalent cations (Co, Ni, Zn, Cd) significantly alters the sorption characteristics of NaY zeolites. The specific influence of exchanged cations on isosteric heats of sorption of n-hexane depends on the size and electronic configuration of the cation. © 1992. | en |
