This paper describes investigations of the effect of two different types of novel hydrophobic zeolites (ultrastable zeolite type Y and pentasyl type zeolite) on the pervaporation properties of zeolite-filled polydimethylsiloxane membranes. A procedure of obtaining membranes of various thickness varying in the zeolite content was mastered. Physicochemical characterization of the utilized zeolites was done. The effects of the zeolite type and concentration, as well as the temperature and membrane thickness on the membrane permeability and selectivity were established.en
